Back Overview Resources About Me

After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Exceptional Child Education and receiving my Gifted Certification from Nova University in 1991, I created and taught the gifted program at Fairglen Elementary School from 1991 to 2004. There, in addition to teaching the Gifted program, I sponsored and coached Odyssey of the Mind, taught TV Production, and served as the school’s Writing Specialist. In 2004 I came to Kennedy Middle School to work with advanced and gifted students teaching world cultures. There I served as Social Studies Department Chair, Gifted Student Program Coordinator, and co founded the KEEP, Kennedy's program for Gifted and Talented students. In addition,  I took over the school's webpage and became the webmaster. I served as a writing coach, sponsored and coached OM. This is my ninth year at Viera and I am privileged to  teach a rigorous and demanding curriculum in the subjects I love the most.
I am interested in history, government and politics. I love technology and record original electronic music. Click to One Bad Ant  to hear my music video go to youtube and look up one bad ant!!
